The Role
As a Workforce Development Specialist, you are the bridge between ambition and opportunity. You will walk alongside parents and young adults, coaching them through the journey of career discovery and financial independence.
While you will report to and train at our Seneca office, you will travel throughout Anderson, Easley, and Greenville to support our participants and build local business partnerships.
What You’ll Do
Career Coaching: Mentor participants on resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and mock interviews to sharpen their professional edge.
Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and educational institutions to create job placements and internships.
Goal Setting: Help participants identify training needs and develop personalized professional plans.
Case Management: Track progress, provide ongoing feedback, and ensure accurate data reporting to celebrate every milestone of success.
What You Bring
Experience: 3-5+ years in HR, recruiting, or program management.
Heart for People: A positive, encouraging demeanor and a proven ability to mentor diverse individuals.
Communication: Strong relationship-building skills to connect participants with the right employers.
Organization: Ability to manage data and track outcomes effectively (Charity Tracker experience is a plus!)
