An Inspiration to All - Elizabeth’s Story

My name is Liz Hunter and I am officially a graduate of Ripple of One! I’d like to share my story.

Before joining Ripple I was barely surviving. I was living paycheck to paycheck, had no savings, and was in a depressed mental state because of the financial strain. I had no support system and knew what I wanted but did not know how to get there.

Through the program, I was able to work with a mentor and a financial coach who helped me budget my money, establish multiple savings accounts, and go back to school! I had a whole team to help me decide how to achieve what I wanted and to be there for me when times were rough. I am on track to finish school next month and will graduate as a certified Dental Assistant. I am so proud of achieving this goal that I have had my sights on for over a decade!

Ripple has made my dreams possible and my mental health stronger. This program is truly making a difference in our lives and preventing future generations from having to repeat cycles. I plan to continue to stay involved with Ripple as much as possible - serving as an advocate for new Ripple participants. I hope to encourage them to stay the course even when times are tough and to use the resources Ripple has to offer to make their journey lighter.
