Financial Freedom Manager

Hi, I'm Lisa May, the Financial Freedom Manager (FFM). I started my career working for Procter and Gamble in sales for the Foodservice and Lodging products division.   I met my husband, Bruce, while working at P&G.   Bruce was working on a test market with Procter and Gamble that brought us to the Upstate of SC.   We fell in love with the Lake Keowee/Clemson area and decided to move to SC.  Bruce made a career change and went into Real Estate.  I helped, while raising our three children in Clemson.   I have been affiliated with Ripple of One for many years, first as a mentor and then as a supporter/donor.  Julia Schaefer, Ripple of One's Pickens Care Manager,  worked with us for 10 years at Jocassee Real Estate and she left to come work as the Financial Freedom Manager 4 years ago.  I thought at the time, that would be the perfect job for me.  While reading the Ripple of One newsletter I saw the " Now Hiring for the financial literacy program" and I thought that it's just meant to be.  We had just become empty nesters and I was ready to spend my days helping the participants manage and direct their spending.
